Are you using a CRM? If so, you need to use it and plug in the number of accounts you are visiting and the $$$$$$ sales potential. The amount of activity is in direct correlation with your sales potential.

a pipeline is simply a list of opportunities or potential sales that are likely to come up at a specific time - managing a pipeline simply means keeping on top of contacting these prospects at an appropriate time. so keeping notes of previous contact with a prospect, who you spoke to, when to call back - and the nature of the opportunity
