what is the best way to start a fashion career?

i want to have a major in fashion business. But im not sure how to exactly start. Should i take classes at a downtown art institute or go to europe, i have a european citizenship but im not sure where to even start if i did live in europe. what are some good schools in the USA and in Europe.

You should take classes and even better - get a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Design. You can take these classes at a Fashion Institute College or a local college also has classes for this degree. The fashion industry doesn't pay well unless you are able to succeed to the top. Be prepared to spend time learning and then developing your skills and then you can move to the top and be paid well.
My daughter's first major in college was Fashion. She only needed to finish the basic classes to get her degree. I was an Upscale Womens Fashion Retailer for 13 years. I know this business.
