Chef - you want to go to a Culinary Arts school.http://www.allculinaryschools.com/ld/culinaryarts?src=goo_1010300010100000535_T1
If you want to own your own restaurant, then I recommend you major in Business - Entrepreneurship and attend a culinary arts school.
As for the wedding planner, you can' t major in anything for that specific job. Any liberal arts degree will help. A public relations track might help you most becaues it is critial to have a strong network, great speaking, presentation and time management skills. I recommend going to one of the hotels in your area (Try Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons) and ask to interview the Wedding/Events Planner as a school career project. Go find out what education they have, what skills do they look for when they hire.. and ask if you can volunteer to work/help out 1x week to gain experience.
