Question for those who work for a grocery store?
Asked by stevenvt1
I would like to get a job at a grocery store as an overnight stock person. What things do they look for? Obviously grocery experience, but is there anything else? The closest experience I have related to this is working retail part-time for about a year and a half. Thanks for any info.

I work for smart and final as a night crew member. Its a grocery store in CA. What they are wanting is someone who will show up on time and not quit and is drug free. Our night crew is understaffed because no one wants to work at night, So they will take almost anyone. Especially non-students or students who don't care to work at night. Oh yeah, one more thing, most of the night crew are guys and they don't want girls that might get in a situation of a bunch of guys at night with no other witnesses around, if you get my drift.
