Does A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) have to work with adults?

Im Just asking because next year I am going to high school and I am applying to a magnet school for Allied Health CNA and after that College for a RN Pediatric.

Yes, certainly in training, once you get out unless you get a job as a CNA in Pediatrics you will have to work w/adults. Also keep in mind even if you go to school to be an RN w/the goal to work in Pediatrics, it's not guaranteed. Working in Pediatrics is a job everyone wants so your competition will be tough so be prepared that you might have to work in another department for awhile. Healthcare HR Manager

While I was in college I was a CNA. I worked with Special Needs children for a few years. I also did pediatric care in hospitals, as well as ER Tech work.

LOL OF COURSE THEY ARE MANY ELDERLY CASES OUT THERE. LEARN FROM THEM. SOME ARE HONORY AT AN OLD AGE, BUT MOST ARE SWEET AND VERY INTELLIGENT!
