Vet Assistant or Restaurant Server?
Asked by sunshine
I am a senior in high school and need to get another job soon. I'm having trouble deciding whether I should work at a veterinary office as an assistant or at a restaurant preferably as a server. Anyone have experience in either of these areas? Did you enjoy it? What kind of money does each make?

One is a step towards a career, the other is just a job. Which one is going to be the most helpful to your future?

As a server it's sort of easy, but your feet hurt after a while, but as a senior in high school, you could end up having more down time at the vet job to get things done, when whatever else is done. It will look good to a college too.
