What career is better Dental Hygenist or Dentatl Assistant?

I want to go to school for Dental Hygenist but it's going to take me 4yrs because of prerequsites...There is a Dental Assistant program close by and you can complete it in 2 months. But I dont know which way to go...I would like a good paying job and flexibility.

Dental assistants don't make as much as Hygienists. If you care more about money and don't mind attending college for 4 years then you should defiantly become a Dental Hygienist. And if you don't care about the pay and don't want to go to school for that long, then be a dental assistant. Both are very flexible with hours. GOOD LUCK!
