What are the best qualities and attributes required to be a team supervisor?

I have an interview tomorrow where I need to carry out a five minute presentation on what I think are the best qualities and attributes required to be a team supervisor. Any advice and tips would be great!

Primarily being a good communicator, backed up with good levels of literacy and numeracy. Patience is a necessary virtue, especially when dealing with staff who do not have English as a first language. Dont forget you will need a sense of humour to get you through the day.
