What restaurant chains do not ask if you have a criminal history?
Asked by dellydels
I just got my bartender license and I want to land a job at a chain restaurant, but many of them ask about criminal history. I have a criminal charge from when I was 18. Does anyone know of restaurants that don't ask about criminal history?

Best Answer:
most chains do not do background checks... just lie.

Most wouldn't unless they think you might be a danger to the Restaurant or it's staff.
And they may not care, depending on the seriousness or the crime and how long ago it was.

If that question is asked on the application do not lie. If it ask, they'll want to know when and what for. When they see you were only 18 they will often hire anyway.
