Do phone sex operators go from a script?
Asked by Beaker
In most call centers, a representative must read from a script or follow a structured call flow. Is this the same for phone sex operators. Also, how does a phone sex operator get coached if they are not performing well?

*I know I'm gonna get in trouble for answering this.* They don't read a script. The operator needs to reflect how slow ; or fast ; the caller is ... *cough* ing himself. They try to match the excitement of a caller, and since everybody is different it would be impossible for one script to fit all. It's all improv. And for women, it's a natural talent. What kind of system do you think they have in place if an opperator "is not performing well"? There is no helpdesk, email address, complaints center, and the opperator gives you a fake name. Since there is no way for the customer to complain (that is, if they wanted to), I don't think there is a coaching process.

Ha, I'd love to do it for a laugh, and just as he was about to er, finish the call, i'd say 'As if, you sicko!!!! Get a life!' Then hang up. Ha.
