What is a job related to teaching and little kids, that pays good?

My whole life, I have wanted to be a high school or kindergarten teacher, but I have heard my teachers complain about the pay. I get good grades, and cant wait to go to college...but I wanta teaching job that get GOOD pay. What should I do?

You could be a home tutor, my friend does that and gets paid good. Also you could be like a mentor. That is where you have to basically help the kids with work and you may have to take them around, but that pays good too.

Teaching actually doesn't pay that badly, once you factor in the benefits that most other people do not get. When you look at the retirement, the holidays, and the fact that you get three months off in the summer (to either earn more money at another job or to get some well-earned rest), it's not a bad way to make a living. Get your degree so that you will be qualified to be the LEAD teacher, though, not a teacher's assistant or preschool/daycare teacher.
