I'm currently a junior in college @ a major university I want to become a marketing manager or brand manager coordinator or director. I need to know steps to take and If getting my bs in econ will hurt my chances?. Also I plann or getting an mba in marketing. What is nesscarily. Expereince?

You are on the right track. Now what you need is to get summer jobs and internships in marketing. Get on www.monster,com and other web sites and look at those things. A summer doing sales would not hurt either. It does not matter what you sell but it will be a super education for marketing. Just remember that marketing manager os not en entry level jobbut one you get after a few years. But an MBA in marketing will be a big help and the econ degree will help you see the big pisture.
