A veterinary technician is a title that is nationally recognized by the American Veterinary Medical Association. Registered/Certified/Licensed (all basically the same meaning, just different terms used by different states) Vet techs have gone to a 2 year accredited school and earned an associates degree. Some states also require them to take a national exam. A vet nurse is simply a term that is used by certain employers, and it can mean different things. A vet nurse could be a vet tech or a vet assistant, and the job responsibilities vary from place to place.
I'm a vet tech :)
