What y'all think about this situation?

Was raised out in the county area not farm land, but had the country surroundings/environment. Father is a retired diesel mechanic that has a lot hillbilly in him. Spent a lot time outside in the barns, keeping the lawn tractors working and maintaining the family cars..so forth. When in doors spent a lot of time on the computer too. During high school I was really into computer and all that stuff right. Graduated from College with an A.A.S degree in that field. Problem is I'm a gear head and computer geek both. Now try to manage picking one of those fields for a career. Yes I do act like a hillbilly too a little bit .I can handle both the business field and mechanics too. The money is in business i understand, but I feel like I would be leaving my country style though. It REALLY SuCKs. Not looking for suggestions but those be nice too. Just looking for peoples intake on this situation

Where I live, there are a lot of part time farmers. Day job 9 to 5, or whatever hours they work, teaching or office or whatever, and look after the livestock when they come home. If their type of farming is tillage or forestry, there aren't animals to feed, and they can fit it in around their other commitments. A friend works in computer software development and creating websites. He does that from home, only needs broadband to make it possible. He has no farm, but he lives in a rural area. He doesn't need to be city based. And scratch the surface of almost anyone, and a generation or two back they are all country folk. There's nothing wrong with hillbilly genes.
The money is in business? Hmmm. Could be a bit unpredictable these days. But all those farmers who are feeding the nation will need good mechanics to keep them rolling. If you work at what you enjoy, you will do it well and that spells success. And if the opportunity allows, you could have eggs in alternative baskets too.

I feel you on that one. Look at it like this, which one can you make the most money doing, and then the other one can be your hobby. So become a computer programmer whos making triple figures and you can ride atvs all weekend long!
