Can I have a career in which I can use the skills of both a computer scientist and an electrical engineer?

I know that these fields overlap with computer engineering, but I want to be able to use my programming skills and my interest in electrical systems other than computers.

data modeling of a security alarm company... Very low chances though, why not just stick to regular IT like database administrating, my dad has a degree in electrical engineering I think but it has not proved very usefull to him, he is currently an oracle DBA and used to be a data modeler
