What certifications should an entry level pc technician aim towards?
Asked by Agent S
Whats the difference between getting A+ certification and MCSE certification? Are there any others that are more valuable? What are some of the more basic entry level jobs in the IT field?

Best Answer:
MCSE is a software Cert. It has to do with designing windows networks based on active directory. For an entry level PC tech you need an A+ cert from Comptia. Then if you get hired somewhere they are going to need to get you certified in vendor specific brands. You will have to get certified in Dell, HP, IBM, Lenovo, and any other brand that they might work on. It's not hard but it allows them to fix computers under warranty.
