If the cleaning service you work for does not pay for your supplies or gas, do they pay you an hourly rate?
If not I suggest you leave the company.
As per hour rate, if you are buying your own supplies I would say 20 for the first hour, and then group the hours as they go on something like:
1 hour is $20
2 hours is $35
3 hours is $50
or something like that.

Well,...no employer is responsible to provide transportation to and from work, for their employees,...so don`t feel you deserve something extra because you are paying for your own transit....Work is hard to find these days, and it`s getting harder, when you feeling down about your work,...just think of 8 millions + of those unemployed. Bush and the "hill" boys have messed up economic situation so bad, that even illigel Mexicans in U.S. are not sending $$ back to Mexico, as they used to, and they lost respect for the "almighty Dollar", they want to get paid in Pesos.(That`s what I hear on the news)
