I am working for a house cleaning service, I drive my own car, pay for my own gas what should i earn per hr?

I do not get paid for any travel between houses. I find myself buying out of pocket supplies every other day or so. Need some advise. ....

If the cleaning service you work for does not pay for your supplies or gas, do they pay you an hourly rate? If not I suggest you leave the company. As per hour rate, if you are buying your own supplies I would say 20 for the first hour, and then group the hours as they go on something like: 1 hour is $20 2 hours is $35 3 hours is $50 or something like that.

Well,...no employer is responsible to provide transportation to and from work, for their employees,...so don`t feel you deserve something extra because you are paying for your own transit....Work is hard to find these days, and it`s getting harder, when you feeling down about your work,...just think of 8 millions + of those unemployed. Bush and the "hill" boys have messed up economic situation so bad, that even illigel Mexicans in U.S. are not sending $$ back to Mexico, as they used to, and they lost respect for the "almighty Dollar", they want to get paid in Pesos.(That`s what I hear on the news)
