Can a professional chef/cook have facial jewlery?

I have a nose piercing and lower lip piercing and am thinking of becoming a culinary chef OR Pastry maker. My question si is it ok to have this jewlery in the food service industry? Not Front house kitchen. Back house

It would depend on the individual restaurant. You ar emore likely to be able to have facial piercings at indpendently owned restaurants rather than chains.

A:
In the first year you enroll in culinary school, you're not allowed to have any facial jewelery, piercings, rings etc.. Mostly depends where you're planning to work, study or be an intern at.
