I'm going to echo so many others - don't get a second job when your husband is fully able to get a DIFFERENT job. Pulling $400/week is going to tough, especially in this economy. That's about $20/hour for a 20 hour part time job. That's VERY tough if you don't have the right experience or education.
Get your husband to get out there and find a job. ANY job.

Why do you have to take another job? So, he works 0% and you work 200%?????
Try fast food, retail, bars, restaurants.
Most internet at home are scams.
Good luck

Start waiting tables on evenings and weekends. You can pull in a good deal of cash for not that many hours. Plus it's good exercise and keeps your mind sharp.

You could try cocktailing in a decent restaurant. Depending on the restaurant and the shifts, you could earn $50 - $150 a shift.

Hubby needs to get another job instead of you having to work pretty much 24-7, but a part time night job for 400 a wk, dont know of any. You might get part time work at 24 hr restaraunts as waitress or working in convenience store.

you could try hosting gold parties. Usually no up front cost and you get a commission of possibly 20% of the sales. People bring over their old gold jewelry and this company gives them cash for it and you take a cut for hosting the party. At least I think it's a good idea for a little extra cash.

I get paid $15-$25 per hour to house clean... I do this in the evenings and weekends... I also applied to be a companion/home care assistant for the elderly the starting pay is $8 per hour.. You do light housekeeping, shopping and occassional doc. appt. You also get paid for milage.
Though my husband is working full-time this is just to help out...
My husband worked at a bar checking id's at the door and make $10 per hour... Free drinks and tips ....! So it was about $100 per night. To drink and hang out with your friends..!
good luck

Waiting on tables or bartending like 3 nights during the week or just on the weekends will give you that extra income needed, no joke, I had to do it for 3 years while my kids were small and my husband worked full time, it worked out well.
Try getting a job at places like Outback Steakhouse, TGIF, places that serve lots of alcohol = bigger tips.

Do I understand you right? YOU need to take on another job? Why? He can get a night time job or another job until he finds something that's in his field. What ever happened to men having too much pride for their wives to work, it's gotten to the point now where they don't have enough pride to take on scullery work so their wife won't have to take on a 2nd job???

I work p/t waiting tables 2-3 nights a week for extra $$. The only downside is that people aren't tipping the way they used to in this nasty economy. Try going with a local restaurant instead of a national chain - they're more likely to work with your existing schedule. It's the best paying p/t job that doesn't require removing any clothes! ;-)
