At Mcdonalds, if you are an initiator on the assembly table, do you leave the assembly table at all?
Asked by Cory B
i was told that at mcdonalds, assembly table initiators must never leave the assembly line even if it is to stock up or etc because it was the grill manager responsibities to do that. is that true?

That is true, initators should not leave their station/post at the dressing table. This is so that if an order appears on the KVS (Kitchen Video System) they can start the order immediatly. The grill manager (if present) may also not wish to leave his/her post and send others to get stuff. This is so that they can keep an eye on everything. How can you manage a grill team from the stock room?
