What are some jobs at the post office that start at $20/Hour?

My friend said that he was going to get any position for $20/Hour if he passed their test. What jobs at the post office pay such a large hourly wage?

Maintenance Mechanics and Electronic Technicians hourly rates of pay start out very well. But, those two positions require other exams besides the Exam 473. City Carriers also have a good starting hourly rate, which requires the Exam 473 and a clean driving record. I highly doubt this friend of yours will even get into any career positions with the Postal Service even if he does pass any of the exams. Due to the fact that they are not hiring career employees at this time, actually it's indefinite. They do not know when they'll start hiring again. They're actually going to lay off about 16,000 career employees in the very near future. So, getting hired for a career position, is not going to happen in the next year to three years. They do hire temps though. But, they do not make as much as career employees.
