What are the job prospects for a Chemist in England?

I'm planning to move to London, from Canada, within the next year. I have a degree i Chemistry, and 2 years experience in an analytical/environmental chemistry lab. Are there many jobs available in this field? Are there any particular places to find more info on job hunting? Or do you know of good companies that I should look into as a base? Thanks!

All companies making food, drink, cleaning products etc employ analytical chemists for quality control. You can find their names and addresses on the products in your larder, fridge, freezer and cleaning cupboard
