I've been working for a large Semiconductor company for past 3.5 years. I have M.S. in electrical engineering and B.S. in computer engineering. Honestly what Salary should I expect? Thank to everyone? Deepak Thanks for your responses. There very informative. Just some background of what I do. My first year I was a total lab rat testing, and troubleshooting various system level problem. Now I'm been designing, IC's, PCB's, and debugging customer issues. Thanks Again:

$55,000 at your experience level..

It depends on which job you are doing, and how much responsibility you have. Many EE jobs are $50-80,000. However a senior engineer on a complicated project with oversight responsiblities could make $100-150,000. With bonuses that number could double.

Depends on the specialty. I am an EE with a digital design specialty, but always have worked in software.... Most of the salaries start at about $65K to $70K and quickly go to about $95K. General EEs without management experience typically top out at about $120K. In my case, I started a technology hardware/software specialty company. Also, as what the above person put... Bonus's for EE's are rare.. And a $300K salary is unheard of... Trust me on that... In short... The most powerful skill you will learn as an EE is that anything is possible. Meaning, nothing should intimidate you... Good Luck and I Hope this Helps..
