There is awesome money to be made in the Alberta oil industry. But you have to join one of the unions here. First, do you know someone here in Alberta, so you can use their address. Contact any one of the following unions: The carpenter's union - local 1325 (all located in edmonton) the plumber's and pipefitters union - local 488 the boilermakers union - local 146 the ironworkers union - local 720 the electrical union - local 424 the labourer's union - local 92 They also need people tp work in the camps here - they make a bit less (around 27-28 bucks an hour) I think its the hotel union - check with PTI camps in Fort McMurray. The above trades make around 35-40 bucks an hour, plus 10% holiday pay on each check. They get paid every week. All weekend work is double time. (70-80 p/hr) You can clear each week 1000+ to 3500 a week, depending how many hours you are willing to work. Your room, and all meals are free. Hope this helps. Where else can a person clear 5-12 grand a month!
I work up in Fort McMurray in the oil fields.
