Apple is a good company to work for. Fare salary scale and good employee benefits. 28,000 pound is equivalent of US$48,440. Take the job. This kind of job opportunity is very hard to come by these days.

Erm - to some people it is. It depends on what you are used to! The average for a teacher is around £20k , so i guess it's not bad!

I'd have to do 15 to 20 hours overtime a week to pull that sort of money. Take the job for gods sake.

Its not a bad wage plus iam sure there are prospects in the job to move higher within the company earning more money. Failing that you can always use the experience you have gained to start your own business. :)

It's slightly above average. Whether or not you think it is a lot depends on what it costs you to get to the job, how much time you have to give it..e.g. if you need 3 hours to travel to the job add this to the hours you are contracted for and work out the hourly rate. Minimum wage is £5.75 per hour, it will definitely be more than that.
