Clerical jobs in a doctor's office are entry level or close to it. Depends on the size of the office and how many physicians are on staff but you are setting your sights too low. You should be able to land this position with no experience provided you are responsible, type well, have excellent spelling and can be reliable. You would work your way up to higher level admin roles and/or move to a hospital or insurance company if you like.
