How do i become a Certified Veterinary Nurse (NOT a Vet Technician or Assistant)?

a vet tech and a vet nurse are the same things. In England they call them nurses, in the US--because the nursing association her had to make a fuss about it vet techs are not supposed to call themselves vet nurses. So they are called vet techs. (I think banfield used the term pet nurse). But anyways a vet tech program will train you to be a veterinary nurse but you will be called a vet tech.

Usually what you would have to do, is to do the vet assistant course or the technician course, and then you would have to take a licensing test through the veterinary nurse program. My best suggestion is that you contact the association for vets and ask what test or qualifications you would need in order to get the certified vet nurse.
