Does an electrician need to be good at math?

I am thinking about going to school to be an electrician. I just wanted to know if an electrician needs to be good at math.

If you are the person designing things, then you need to know about circuit boards and things like that, which requires math knowledge, but not necessarily as much as like an engineer.

No matter what you are doing in the electrical field, you will need to know match each and everyday on the job. It will be a vital tool that you will use many times and it could save your life. So, if you are having trouble in math, please learn it the best you can.
