Where can I get free training to be a virginia certified nurse aide?

You can go to your local community college. If you can apply for Financial Aid via fafsa.gov, your financial aid may cover the costs of the CNA program. You have to go through an extensive application process. I am about to start in January, and I had to fill out applications, get a physical, get PPD shots, get finger prints done for criminal background checks, get some paperwork notarized. It will take a few months to get into the program. Considering it is November, you may be able to get into the January course if you go to the community college ASAP.

Check the web for courses in Certified Nursing Assistant training in your area. Sometimes nursing homes also offer training, but you have to commit to work for them for a period of time. Sometimes there are free courses offered at the health department. good luck.
