Have you known any person with a disability to be successful in nursing or emergency dispatching?
Asked by mtwaites
Just interested in hearing the views of other people have of what they would think about someone in this field. I am ambulatory, and when I was younger I had problems with speech, but that is not an issue now, however it can sometimes be that way during an interview, but not the way that I perform on the job.

Would depend on the disability. Someone who uses a wheelchair, for example, could do emergency dispatching, but would be limited to the areas of nursing they could work in.
