Would I lose My Respiratory Therapist liscence if I tested positive for marijuana?

Or would I just lose my job? Medical Marijuana is legal here in California. What would be the consequences?

no but unless you have a medical reason you might have to prove you did not use while at work good luck.
my health is getting worse here in mi. now that we have med. weed! puff puff pass!

If you don't have a medical reason to be testing positive for it, you will lose your job and license.

If you are not prescribed the weed, maybe. or if they can prove you were high while working, most defiantly...even if its just a little pot.

Someone at my work was in this SAME situation and this is what happened.... She was perscribed the weed for medical reasons, however she was not supposed to be high at work regardless. She smoked on the job, and lost her job when she tested positive. However, she did not lose her License as a Registed Nurse because it was prescribed to her. So basically.. dont smoke on the job or give them any reason to believe you are high while working, and you should be fine.. (as long as it is presecribed which you make it sound like in your question)
