What qualities or characteristics make up a good controller? What basic accounting knowledge is needed?

They have a monthly worksheet for every balance sheet account and provide upper management with detailed analysis. Added bonus for being good? If your company is audited and you impress the accounting firm you'll never go without a good job. We've helped dozens of good controllers who left (or lost) their jobs hook up with other clients. If your unorganized and lazy the auditor will actually help you get fired.
