What does a sales, marketing and customer care job entail?
Asked by Kat
I have been offered an interview for a job which states it's a sales, marketing and customer care position. however, there is no information about the company anywhere as it has been recently opened. i am just wondering what the job would entail, as i would like to know a bit more about the job before i attend the interview.

by the sounds of it, you will probably be working on the phone, either making calls or answering calls of customer questions or complaints. i was offered a job which in not so many words said the same thing. When i did go to the interview i found out it was me sitting on the phone all day, with People either hanging up on me (not wanting what i was selling) or people calling to complain etc. If you could handle that job and it pays well, good luck. but i would still go to the interview just in case it is more then that.

I did that for YEARS, and I still kinda do. It is talking on the phone all day..selling something. It isnt as bad as it seems, I did it for about 6 years, and its pretty good. I suggest going to the interview. Feel free to email me if you have any other questions about it. Good Luck!
