Need help with child care ideas in order to work?

Ok..so I have a dilemma. On my husband's salary we make just a couple hundred dollars more than the maximum income for subsidized child care. Head Start only takes children older than 3. I need to work but have no one to watch the kids. I was sexually abused for many years as a child in a at home day care center. I have NO trust in babysitters, or at home day care centers. Are there any other options out there? Do you know of any jobs out there that help with child care? Any infomation is welcome. Thank you! I would LOVE to work from home. that would be ideal. I litterally have no money to invest up front. But I will check out the link. Thanks!

I am not a tax expert yet, but if you are that close to the cut off for subsidies, maybe you can claim some deductions on your taxes. Do you give anything to good will or church etc? i'm sorry for your tragedy. how about getting a job at a daycare where your kids will be there under your supervision? also, google "companies that have on-site daycare". i know of a hotel in nashville that provided daycare so workers could afford to take the low paying jobs. also some tips to make money at home are worth looking into.

Do you have a Church Family and or local Church in the Area - normally there are some that have programs that are cheap or subsidiesed throught he chruch to get people working when needed and what about family? what about best friends or friends maybe each could do one day a week (I do this often) or trade with another mother hey you watch my kids these two days I will watch yours and even if they dont work they could use the time for hubby/wife time or what ever
