How do I become a nursing assistant instructor?
Asked by Julie T
I'm interested in becoming an instructor/teacher for any local community colleges and teach nursing assistant courses. I'm not sure how to get into it all. Any help would be great, thanks! I do have my BSN and 2 years experience. I've been an LPN and a CNA for years while in school.

In general, to teach you need a higher degree than who you teach; and the community colleges have their own teaching credential requirements. You also need a separate credential from the gov (although it can be a "limited one").. I would call up the CC & speak to someone.
