Best Answer:
You have to get an Associates in Nursing to get a RN.
You need to go to a local community college and talk to them
Tell them you are a CNA, and you want to get an ADN/RN
Some of your classes will transfer. It may not even take you the full two years to complete.
I know alot of people who were CNA's working on ADN/RN at the hospital where I volunteered.

Sorry--you gotta do the traditional route. An RN requires a certain amount of education and a degree and there is no getting around it--or you would not be a RN. However, look into the RN associates degree. If you have an associates already, you would not need to take the general ed requirements, just the nursing pre-reqs (all those are necessary).

You can't. You must complete a nursing degree program including prerequisites to become an RN.

These two different areas would be a definite asset when getting your nursing. It would allow you to be maybe comped of some of the courses that you took. Ask the school about that.
