good part-time night jobs?
Asked by Traveler001
If I wanted to find a part-time job at night, to supplement my day job, what would you suggest? What are some that pay more than others? I guess I cant think of many beyond Waiter, bartender, freelance graphic designer? What are some to try that wouldnt be too hard to come by? thanks

Bartenders make decent money, as do some people who do maintenance or other night repair. Some people who work in stores or on a factory shift receive a premium for working the night shift too, but not sure if that is something that interests you.

you could be a hotel night auditor like me. hours are like 11 pm to 7 am and you basically run a computer program for 15 mins and organize all the printouts into an audit pack. the rest of the time you waste on the internet or reading. occasionally you have to check in guests but that's not hard either. make sure its a nice hotel though. all complaints come to you (as you are the only employee there) and the sh*ttier the hotel the worse the complaints

Two of my grand kids deliver pizza. By their standards it is good money in tips. One of them works days at the same pizza parlor during the day and delivers in the evening. It depends on what you call "good money". If you do not plan to send your kids to college, buy a car, buy a house, ever pay a dentist or create a retirement fund - hey, maybe it IS good money! Most hospitals, or maybe your local county hospital, will take you in rather than let you die on their doorstep and other, wealthier people will pay the doc from their taxes.
