What kind of tips can I expect to make at The Cheesecake Factory? ?

As for server experience I have only worked at a comedy club, and all customers have loved me. Currently, I need a job that I can make more and still have flexiblity. The Cheesecake Factory all seems to be hiring and advertise top money. What does that mean really? Does anyone work there or know someone that does? If so, on adverage what do they make in tips for a night? Thank you.

I've worked at The Cheesecake Factory in Houston for about one year! It seems to me you have experience in the hospitality world and people love you! =)That's a good sign when getting into the server world! I personally didn't enjoy working at Cheesecake. I love the people, but I didn't like the way they ran things. It's such a huge corporate chain I think sometimes they forget to take care of their employees. :[ Managers were awesome individuals but over all the management wasn't that great. Tips were average. It really depends on the clientele and the area it is in. I currently am working in the same area just in a smaller private restaurant and am making much more than I did at Cheesecake. The work load is much more stress free!! I know Cheesecake is well known but the tips there weren't that great. I think you could average like $80 a week night and $120 on weekends?Give and take! but keep in mind it all depends on your service and area! =) II heard the other cheesecake factory in Houston has better management and the area is nicer! So the money of course is much better=) Overall a waitress/Waiter job is very inconsistent! you have your good days and bad days =) But over all any server job you can make some pretty good money! =) Work it! girl!! =) Good luck! =)

Well I dont work in the food service industry but I do eat at Cheesecake Factory. I would figure you would get about 15-18 tables in a 7 hour shift, each dinner ranging from 50-250 and average about 18% tip. If you are working lunches you will make less, average bill is 25-90. Its a great restaurant, atleast to eat at.
