No matter what job you do, there will be bosses you don't like, and fellow employees you hate, and things about the job that don't make you want to get up in the morning. BUT, a good job will give you enough money to buy food, clothes, and pay rent on an apartment, so you don't have to live with your parents. Stick with the apprenticeship, and go to school at night to get other skills.

if you hate it that much then you can not keep it up for the rest of your life. Some jobs do require a little talent as well as skills. What job would you like to do? Where are you? How old are you? We can not help you unless we know these things.

You first need to find out what your interests are. Most of us will be working for 30+ years, so it is important to find something you are passionate about. First of all, analyze yourself - What do you like to do? Ie: If you are a gamer, you could get computer skills and create computer games. If you like music, you could investigate that industry, etc. Employment centres offer tests, which will determine your suitability for types of jobs. These are only good as a guideline as they do not include alot of jobs that are available. There are many online questionaires as well that may open up new ideas for you to explore. Some questions you need to ask yourself are: Do I like to work with people, work nights, split shifts, etc? Do I like to be creative in my work? Do I like detailed work? Do I like to work inside or outside? How important is the pay? Am I willing to start at an entry level job? In other words, you must decide what is important to you, may a concrete list and refer to it when you are looking an career choices. Grab a newspaper and look at all the jobs listed. Really take the time to look at each one and evaluate whether it interests you or not. You may like a particular business, but not the job being posted. That is okay, you just need to have more of an idea of what is out there. Good luck and keep in mind that you only have to make yourself happy (not your parents)

I agree there will always be things about a job that you won't like and even hate. To try and make a career out of something you hate is insane. I've been there and done that. There is so much opportunity to make money today there is only one reason to waste your valuable time doing something you hate. That reason is to keep food on the table and a roof over your head. Yes I know that is why most people have a job and that is also what they think is the purpose of a job. In the 1970's and 80's that would be true but today a job should be looked at as a temporary inconvenience while you learn the skills to build your own future(business). The world is changing rapidly the industrial age of working for someone is over, job security is over, along with may other things. Don't believe me look at CNN, CNBC, watch the news, look at the stock market, pick up the Wall Street Journal it's clear as day if you look. With all that said this is my advise to you keep doing what ever it is to make your parents happy they deserve that much from you. Meanwhile learn the skill it takes to get out of that rat race and you will make your parents proud of you. The resource I'm going refer you to will not cost you anything. The learning is free, you will have to put in the work to make it work for you. I promise, you will get out of it whatever you put into it. Let me also warn you do not let the fact that you don't have to pay for the learning fool you of the real value of this program. http://www.insidersecretsdotcom.com/contest I hope this helps you, Roy
