Any other jobs an aircraft mechanic can do?

My husband is currently an aircraft mechanic. Work right now is BAD and not to mention even when it's not, the stability is terrible. We can't settle down in a certain city (unless we want it to be NYC). He's got student loan debt and all so going back to school ISN'T an option. Is there anything else he can do with that training. Obviously, he's very talented with mechanical things. Thanks guys.

Hotels are wonderful places to work. His knowledge of mechanical things would make him the perfect manager of a hotel..
