Am I being payed fairly or poorly?

I'm a maintenance man for an apartment complex. I work on plumbing, electrical, some AC troubleshooting, Dry walling, painting, Installing appliances from anything you would find in any apartment. I'm the only Maintenance personnel for 150 apartments. I am on call 24/7 including holidays. I make 8.50/hr, and receive free rent. ($460/mo). Just want some opinions on what anyone else thinks about this. Thanks! I can't relax, It's a very stressful job keeping up with work orders, and doing make readys in vacant apartments. The other property this company owns has 2 maintenance men for the same number of apartments and they both get paid more.

honestly it's a job. Do you i think your getting screwed, OMG yes. do plumbers, electricians, and painters make 8.50 na hour. NO, they get a Hell of a lot mroe than that.

Seems fair, if you are able to justify prostituting your life like that. I would hate always being reachable even on holidays (when can you relax?)

The free rent sounds like a great deal. If you can't keep up with the work pace, talk to your boss about it.
