How many males on this site would apply for a clerical/office assistant position? ?

I am unemployed and looking for work. My background is in office administration. I was trained for it in the military. I'm not experienced in anything else. Every time I apply for a job I get crazy looks from people. Why do people have to be so judgemental just because I am a male. It's just not right.
