General pre-med classes usually cover it, along with the general requirements for a bachelors degree. I would also take any extra classes you could dealing with anatomy, physiology, immunology, diseases, virology, microbiology, parasitology, etc as that is info you will need to know and in PA school you might spend a week covering it rather than a quarter or semester--gives you a better foundation and the material is locked into your brain deeper. Good luck

Typically, you'd be best off following a pre-med track. Biology (general biology, microbiology, anatomy and physiology), Chemistry (principles and organic), Statistics, Psychology, etc. Check with the schools you are interested in for their exact prerequisites. Good Luck!

You need to have a 4 year degree before you can apply to a PA program. It doesn't have to be pre-med or biology track however it puts you ahead of the game to already know some of the material you will be covering. Overally you can go to school for anything you want and then apply for the PA program. As long as you have a good GPA and proper test scores, you have nothing to worry about. I'm almost done with my degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and I will be applying to the PA program at UMDNJ in a year. Good luck
