How long should I wait for Publix to call me back for an interview before I know that I didn't get the job?

I applied like 4 days ago and I'm getting anxious.. It's my first time applying for a job, but I don't know how long it should be before I know I didn't get it. Any advice/help? I might apply at WinnDixie if they don't contact me... even though Publix is WAY better.

They may not need anyone at this time...Go back to the store that you applied at....ask to see the Assistant Store Manager .... They do the hiring...and they will tell you what their employment needs are...plus they will be able to put a face with the name....

it could sometimes be a week or two but they may not need anyone for the times you're available and the times they need someone could be completely opposite. lol. sorry if that didn't make sense.
