i just applied to american apparel online, about how long will it take to hear from them if they want to interview me i.e. at what point should i stop hoping. i applied late thursday night...if i don't hear in a week is that a sign they aren't interested?

I applied to America Apparel via the internet, and I received a call from them the next day. I don't know how it works in whatever state you're in but I'm in New York. If you don't hear from them by Monday or so, move on. It all depends on how good your resume is and if you are the right fit for the company depending on the pictures you sent in and your cover letter, if you sent one in.

Call the HR department and verify that they recieved your resume and app. and find out if they have any interview dates avail.
