Could someone afford a house being a vet tech?
Asked by sheri
I'm still a teenager but I'm thinking about becoming a vet tech. I was definitely want to own a house when I'm older (medium sized) and be able to afford a few Prada purses and a have a nice closet full of clothes, I was wondering if being a vet tech could afford this kind of lifestyle.

The average salary for a vet tech is about $40,000/year. You might have to do without those prada bags and it depends on what you mean by nice clothes. A house isn't out of the question, but it depends on where you want to live and if you're married or not. Two incomes are always better than one.
