Asked by Slappywag
is the department of corrections considered a law enforcement agency? I ask because I am trying to become a corrections officer (had my interview today) and was wondering if it would give me an edge if one day i wanted to become a police officer. is it difficult to become a police officer if you have no military exp. and no one in your family is a cop? I live in Virginia. thank you for taking the time to answer!
