What do I need to do to become a video game tester?
Asked by SpencerS
what are my chances of even getting the job? what college courses do i need to take? are there any other requirements? oh and to sickcity, i know that being a game tester is ot all fun, i am very experienced with computers, animation, design, and programing. i am able to stay up all night and i love working with technology, especially computers, and every time i play a game i can think of a way to make it better. does that qualify me?

Best Answer:
You buy the game you want to test, play it to death and send a letter to the game producer with the bugs you found. Oh! I'm sorry. You expected to get paid for this. See the answers I gave at least 5 times before in the last month to the same question. And if you are the same person that asked before, the answer has not changed.

oh yay, another teen who thinks that "playing video games all day would be awesome" Its not like you think it is in your head. Its tedious very tedious and tiring work and you need ALOT of education geared towards programming to get into that kinda stuff.....and there arent THAT many game companys that you are actually going to be able to apply to.
