What type of job can you get with a business administration degree and a minor in management?
Asked by pn1125
Thinking about majoring in business administration with a minor in management. Want to work in the hospitality industry like a hotel. But would be willing to work at a Target or something like that. Am concerned about the salaries though? What other options could you do with this degree?

business administration can be done anywhere.
STAY OUT OF RETAIL - with the economy going downhill fast the way it is - people will not be able to buy anything soon. I suggest you aim for the service sector where services are provided.
salaries are also going down as well - courtesy of Bush, Mccain and wall street. Just be thankful if you are lucky enough to get a job.

That kind of degree works in almost all business environments. Any Fortune 500 Company would be willing to employ someone with those majors.

IF you are just starting, you might look into hotels after graduation if that is what you want.
IF about to graduate, in the current job market with no experience, you might be lucky to land a job at the local mcdonalds!
