Food service is always 2-4 is there a key time for other jobs?

Yes, but of course it depends on the field.. For instance, in retail personnel managers usually work between 8 am and 3 pm and your better off getting there once they've been in about an hour. HOWEVER, in some stores your better off meeting the manager you intend to work for. If you want to work as an overnight stocker and the store is open 24 hours, then your better off going in and looking for the manager and if he likes you he can put in a request to the personnel manager.. I like to just talk to someone who is already working there and ask the best time to apply. They don't have to be a manager to know who to talk to..
